1. What does ‘Over-the-Glasses’ (OTG) mean?

2. What makes Guard-Dogs different from other eyewear brands?
Unlike standard sunglasses or goggles, Guard-Dogs combines durability, high-speed protection, and innovation in every design. We were the first to create a removable goggle seal for sunglasses and the first to develop a sunglass-goggle hybrid. Our eyewear is ANSI Z87+ certified, meaning it meets rigorous safety standards for impact resistance.
3. What does it mean to be ANSI Z87+ certified?
ANSI Z87+ is a high-impact safety standard set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Eyewear with this certification has passed strict tests for durability, offering superior protection against dust, debris, and high-velocity impacts—making them ideal for motorcyclists, tactical professionals, and industrial workers.
Every production run of our eyewear is tested to meet or exceed the ANSI standards and has been since 1993. Note: The last change to the standards increased the size of the lens area which eliminated the Flexor 1 from meeting the full standard, they still meet impact testing.

5. What lens options do you offer?
Guard-Dogs eyewear features six different lens options to suit various lighting and weather conditions, including:

6. Are Guard-Dogs goggles and sunglasses good for motorcycle riding?
Absolutely! Guard-Dogs were designed for high-speed environments, making them perfect for motorcycle riders. The snug fit, wrap-around design, and impact-resistant lenses block wind, dust, and debris while providing clear vision at any speed.
7. Do Guard-Dogs sunglasses fog up?
Our eyewear features vented and/or frames and anti-fog coatings to minimize fogging, even in extreme conditions. Proper care, including cleaning often, can further enhance performance.
8. What’s covered under your Limited Lifetime Warranty?
We stand by our craftsmanship! Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects and foam replacement for life, ensuring you get a durable, long-lasting product. Normal wear and tear, lens scratches, and accidental damage are not covered, but we do offer replacement parts.
9. What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund or exchange—no questions asked. Product must be in resellable condition, shipping is not refunded.
